rattlesnake master, wild indigo, wild bergamot, American false aloe, and ashy sunflower.
Landscaping with native species preserves and propagates endemic plants important for farming, wildlife, and conservation of natural resources.
The flower box contains non-invasive slender-mountain and blue-mountain mint (excellent for juleps!). Pink muhly grass and Mexican bluebell surround the mailbox. All plants are native to the Louisiana-Texas coastal prairie and/or Northern Mexico.
